3P Engineering and Chimera at the "Clean Air Forum" in Paris

3P Engineering is one of the protagonist of the Clean Air Forum, an international event held on November 16 and 17 in Paris, at the Hôtel de Ville, with its innovative project “Chimera”, Chicken Manure Exploitation and RevAluation. Chimera was selected in 2016 in the Life program – through which the European Union provides funding for environmental and nature conservation projects -, and it will be launched in the market by 2020 with the aim to reinvent the chicken manure disposal process.

The Paris Forum is an important opportunity to share knowledge and contribute to the implementation of European, national and local policies, particularly on the issues of air quality in cities and towns, agriculture and business opportunities for clean air. In this context, Chimera is presented as a new and effective solution to solve all those issues related to waste management. Chicken manure is an organic waste: it is rich of toxic elements such as nitrogen oxide (N2O), ammonia (NH3) and methane (CH4) which contaminate air, soil and groundwater.

As explained in the Clean Air Forum at the Panel Briefing on November 17, Chimera will transform chicken manure into fertilizer and both thermal and electrical energy, to sustain the company according to the circular economy.
